You Inc. is an annual event organized by the Rotaract Club of Aruba, the younger oriented group of professionals which was chartered in 1991 and is part of the well-established Rotary Club of Aruba. The focus is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance their leadership skills, address the needs of the community and to promote improved relations between all people through friendship and service.
This year YOU Inc. will be celebrating its first lustrum!
 
 
The theme this year for the YOU Inc seminar is “Navigating Success”. Focusing on improving leadership skills in the form of these topics: leadership vitality, performing under pressure, the science of Emotional Intelligence and Change; How to deal with change in the workplace; How change is personal and not technology based. 
In other words, this seminar is to make “YOU” a better individual where you can excel and meet any objective you set your mind to. This year, we have one great International speaker and a Panel consisting of three speakers that we know will assist YOU in your stride towards greatness and success.

Sara is formerly the Vice President and Global Head of Innovation and Research at the Institute for Health and Human Potential (IHHP), where she continues to serve as a senior advisor and consulting partner. 
 
Sara has a Master of Science (MSc.) Graduate Degree and is a coffee loving, meditation rookie. Best known for her work as a speaker, vitality strategist, and leadership coach, Sara is redefining how we succeed at work and thrive in life. Integrating cutting edge science with real-life stories of success and failures, Sara leaves you with a blueprint of actionable strategies that will help you navigate your own personal and professional success.
 
Sara has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Verizon, UnitedHealth Group, Allstate, Adobe, WAVE, PwC, Scotiabank, the University of Toronto and the leadership team of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

Earl Balborda is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Eunoia Institute. The institute is dedicated to developing emotional     intelligence through self-awareness and relationship management.
Earl obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa, is twice certified as a senior professional in human resources management (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
He has held senior HR positions at Refineria Isla, Autobusbedrijf Curaçao, ABN Amro & PWC.

Jo-Anne Arends is Air Service Development Manager at Queen Beatrix International Airport since January 2011.
She is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to support retention and acquisition of air services at Queen Beatrix International Airport. 
She is an experienced Air Service Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the airlines/aviation industry. Skilled in Market Planning, Data Analysis, Marketing Strategy, Forecasting, and Pricing Strategy. A member of the Airlift committee and Vice-Chair of the Latin-America committee. 
A strong operation professional with a bachelor’s degree focused in Business Administration and Management and a Minor in International Marketing Management (Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Rotterdam HES)
Jo-Anne will exchange views on change management, innovation and performing under pressure.
 
 
Lastly, our third and another local panelist is Christel Croes.
 
 
Christel Croes holds the Training Manager’s position at SETAR N.V., Aruba’s Telecommunications Company since February 2004. She is responsible for all Learning and Development and launched various training initiatives for the company, more recently online training for the technical staff and online training Springest Platform for all SETAR’s employees.
Christel also facilitates on-boarding programs for new hires, develop leadership programs for current and future high potentials, revise performance management competencies, handbook and coordinates the monthly Short Takes information sessions. 
Christel has been in training and development since 1996 and has extensive knowledge and experience in Human Resources. The Telecommunications industry undergoes continuous changes and Learning and Development has always played a vital role for the success of SETAR’s business.   
Christel holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing (HEAO) and has attended numerous training sessions and international conferences. She is a member of both ATD (Association for Talent Development) and SHRM (Society for Human Resources).
Christel Croes will give insights and tips how both young professionals and companies should focus on the human aspect of innovation.

Kareline is a Business Strategy Researcher - working in the travel and leisure tourism. Kareline also has a passion for   personal and professional development and a need to decode the habits, skills and traits for success and growth.
 
Therefore, in 2015- she created the YOU Inc. seminar and recently, together with her co-host and friend Darice Solognier created the local radio and podcast show Career IQ. 
 
The event itself will be held on Saturday, May 25th at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Casino. Registration starts at 8:30am. The event itself starts at 9:00am and ends at 2:30pm. LUNCH IS INCLUDED.
